Lisa, I am not laughing at you..I am laughing with you..we have just rid our selves of our "great escape artists"..I swear these are the goats that "just have to get out or they are gonna die!!"..

You can try stringing some hot wire at the bottom of your fencing that may keep them in. We have hot wire in the front and barbbed wire around the back..and my husband spent 3 days fixing the little holes in the barbed wire and they still found a way!! Finally we just got rid of those particular goats. Depending on how much property you have in your penned in area, cattle panel is also a good idea, but don't get the one w/the bigger slots or you are going to have them get their head stuck in the slots. We have a cattle panneled penned in area and we put chicken wire across the bottom so they can't stick their heads in. But this is just a holding pen for them.
