Did you drench her with anything, wormer, cocci meds, anything at all by mouth, that she could have aspirated into her lungs, thus causing the inhalation pnemonia? If the answer is no, than your answer lays elsewhere. You would have had to be spraying the fly spray into the face of the doe, for it to go into the lung, and even then it would have to have been for a long period of time to concentrate in the lung.
Inhalation pnemonia is the big reason I steer everyone away from using the sheep Ivermectin which is dosed so high you are lucky not to get some in the lung. Also DE and Lime, must be used with care in the barn, especially if your girls are diggers like mine are, my barn looks like a minefield all the time!
My neighbor, uses a liquid fertilizer on his 100+ acre pastures, he always calls me and has me put up my girls, he puts up his cows also. I always worry about the kids in Houston who ride their bikes after the mosiquito fogging trucks, thinking it is great fun to ride in that mist! Where are their parents! Vicki
