Remember that Albon is a brand name, the drug is a sulfa. The same sulfa that is in dimethox powder you can purchase in Jefferslivestock.com It also comes in pills, and as long as they aren't the time released ones you can crush them. Sulfaquinoxiline 20% is the liquid I use, it is dosed at 2cc per 50 pounds, is tasteless in their bottles but if you are going to give it straight by mouth, might want to pull up some Kero syrup into the syringe. I don't have my book with me, but have written out the insturctions for dosing the Dimethox powder before, and also the Dimethox liquid that is sold for IV use only. All of these are less expensive that Albon purchased from the vet. Vicki
