I have used IvomecF on my goats for years, SQ. I just had a well respected goat vet in Woodburn, OR tell me it can be given orally, and to double the dose.
Orally would certainly be less traumatic for the goats, but I don't know if I am brave enough to double the dose.
Another goat person told me she has used it for years but not to use the IvomecF on sheep. My poor sheep, I didn't know that. I have been using it on them for 3 years, same dosage, 1cc per 110lbs.
Hope it doesn't show up harmful some time down the road.
The vet in Woodburn also told me I could find a lot of opinions on the net, everyone has their opinion.
So this is sharing information, and what works for me. I am going to try giving it orally.
