a goat to eat too much of the baking soda? I'm leary of giving it free choice. I've started offering it to them after they've eaten, they take a few licks of it, and then I put it away.
I need a little more reassurance that free choice is OK, or in fact, the best alternative. They won't over-dose on it???
I have started mixing black oil sunflower seeds in with their grain ration, and occasionally give them as a treat out of hand. They love it and I can already see quite an improvement in their coat and skin condition.
Thank you all for the tips! Nellie Belle thanks you too!
