Sid, I just purchased a Kiko buckling, basically over the net(which made me nervous), but picking him up at the Parsons, Tenn. sale. All of the goats there were very high quality, and when I got this buckling home (he's just now 3 months old) I discovered that he is the same size as my Jan. & Feb. boer bucklings. I was very pleased with my purchase! I do agree that sometimes you can pay more at a private treaty sale, because you can (pardon the pun) get buck fever and pay too much. However, these sales are a great way to compare stock from different breeders.
