Thank you for all of that. I like the idea that your friend has, bottle feed them and let their moms take care of them.

Is it best to allow them to feed off of their moms for the first 24-48 hrs before we start to bottle feed them? Also please what is this CAE prevention that you are talking about, and how do I find out if this is what I am suppose to be doing as well?

Also as i mentioned in my other post we were feeding our bottle feds 2% milk when we got them, this is what the person we got them from was feeding them, they said that they had a bad experience w/the powdered goats milk, they caused kidney stones and lost one to it. I thought I read in one of your other posts to feed them whole milk.

Again, I am sorry for the thousands of questions but we are still so new to this, and I am one of those who has to understand everything (smile)..don't want to harm my girls without knowing it
