Helene,
We had the same problem as you are having with your big goats eating your babies feed. When we got my first goat,Zeke, our other goat,Ramsey, would eat all his feed then go over and eat little Zeke's feed.(Ramsey was the only goat we had when we got Zeke.) We tried to fix this problem many ways, but all failed. Finally my mom got an idea.We bought one of those dog leashes that is really short and attached it to the wall beside Ramsey's food dish. When it is feeding time we pour Ramsey'd feed into his dish and clip the lead to his collar. That way when he is done eating he can't go over and steal Zeke's food. Another way is to seperate the big goats from the babies during feeding time. We do this with the young doe I got in March. When she is finised we let her back into the big goats cage. Maybe you could try one of these.Good luck!
