Hi Freud!
I had a buck born the same way. He was about 2 lbs.(Nub/Saanen) couldn't walk, blind, and too weak to suck. I checked the eyes and they looked to be dilating, however no sight, so I decided to stomach tube him and help him get his strengh up. Within a week, his eye sight came back 100%, but it only took a couple of tubings for his legs to wake up and he turned out to be the most hyper little goat we've ever seen. If yours can suck, then she is already better along than my Willie was. I had no choice has he just couldn't suck, even on a bottle. Check her eyes and watch for any dilation. Do routine checks with your forefinger directly at each eye as if your going to poke her and watch for blinking.(Don't touch the lashes and make sure it isn't the draft that causes the blinking action).
The decision of course is yours, I just wanted to give you some hope that blindness isn't necessarily permanant. Sometimes it's just caused of a lack of oxygen during birth. Maybe you could get your vet to check her eyes and give you his/her opinion.
All the best! Please let us know what happens.
