leaky wethers
Help! My son has recently purchased 2 wethers to use for his market goat 4-H project. They were born around March 1st. We have noticed in the last couple of days that they are leaking urine. Kind of incontinent. Usually a slow drip, but sometimes a small stream. First one had the problem, now seems corrected and the other one is leaking. They seem healthy otherwise. Eating and drinking well. We have them on pellets and water only - no grass or hay. Would that be something necessary? We have them on a lamb feed (recommended by the breeder) to give them the ammonium chloride needed to prevent kidney stones. Is this a sign of deficiency of some sort? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
