Ma'am, again I have no idea where you are coming from. I'm glad you breed "champion" animals. yes farmers have had tremendous success and are the salt of the earth IMHO. But I'm talking about the mechanism of genetics, nothing more. You say I should respect and learn from the breeders, have I shown disrespect because I interjected an opinion.The only disrespect here is you to me for some reason. I have not trotted out my degrees or where I work(and won't) because it is irrevelent. How do you know what I breed?(already stated I do field work with gators to varanids, I'll add we breed KIKO/boer crosses,ie genemasters, as if it matters). Again I state, nobody is implying science has all the answers but the ones they have should be acknoledged. The mechanism of sex determination is clearly understood. You don't need to show me a full reference, just cite a notation and I'll find it myself.
