Help with baby goats
A month ago I bought two 8 week old does. Unfortunately they were not handled very much and now I am having a difficult time taming them. They are eating out of my hand but are very very skittish and run at any movement or sound. I put them on a leash yesterday, but to my dismay they were so skittish I was worried they would hurt themselves. I don't think I can put them in the meadow with the other goats,,, I will not be able to catch them again. Any suggestions are welcome, I am beginning to lose hope that they will ever be pets. They do not respond well to treats,,they are too busy being nervous. They will come to me in the pen when they hear the grain can rattle. Is there something I am doing wrong?
