I like to worm in July and then I don't have to worry about the wormer affecting the fetus. I do not worm again until a doe kids unless I detect a problem. I know breeders who have used Valbazen after the first month of pregnancy with no problems and others who feel the Valbazen was responsible for abortions or deformed kids. In the area where I live (nw of Houston) Ivermec and Safegard/Panacur are not very effective. All kids get wormed monthly for the first 4 months and all does within a day or 2 of kidding. After that I worm if I detect a problem or before breeding season. I prefer not to put anything into the goats system if it isn't needed.
