You did not hear this from me, this is an imposter posting this, erase this after you read it :) DMSO mixed with rubbing alcohol makes an old remedy called brace. We used to use it on does who stressed at shows and their knees swelled up. (IE: they were CAE positive, we just didn't know this) anyway it will absorb the medication into the body. Or sweat down swellings, with saran wrap placed over it. You need to wear gloves, remember DMSO sends anything on the skin, into it, poisons or meds. So don't clean the lump with iodine and then without rinsing it use the DMSO. Something you don't keep around if you have children. You can order it as a solvent only through Jeffers and many livestock catalogs, my feed store carries a roll-on. My vet sells it in a dauber bottle. NOT Vicki
