Hi Denise!
I bought a doe in March. she was born in january and weighed 27 lbs. when i brought her home. she now weighs 51 lbs. i feed her sheep feed with corn and oats mixed in.(we mix the feed ourselves) there is also vitamins in it. i feen her 2 times a day. she gets 1 lb. feed daily.(8oz.in morning and evening.) she also gets free choice hay. she is filling out quite nicely. I am going to start taking her on long walks to build her muscles. here is the recipe for our goat feed.
1 part sheep feed
1 part oats
3 part corn
vitamins(you will have to figure out the right amount)
