Need Advice

As most of you know, my dear Trixie passed away three weeks ago today. A few days later we were told by the diagnostic lab that she had died of pneumonia but it wasn't bacterial. They told us it would be 10 days before any more test results were back. So, we've been trying to deal with this the best way we can. Six more does have come down with Trixie's symptoms but we've managed to catch it before the fever got too high and with a lot of effort from everyone I know we've been able to pull them through.
All this time has gone by but the test results finally came back today. It wasn't viral either. The dr. at the lab said that Trixie was never contagious. Her pneumonia was caused by the inhalation or ingestion of a petroleum based product. I have been over and over the container of fly spray we were using at the time in my milk room. See, I'd already thought of that long ago...but I can't find any place where it says petroleum based. And, I never sprayed it on or around the girls always letting the room air out before we went in because I couldn't stand to smell the stuff. I haven't used this spray since Trixie died but have still had girls getting sick. Even does that don't come into the milk room.
The new section of pasture we opened up is next to a field where trees and shrubs are grown. As you may remember, I was concerned that the man had possibly been spraying something around my girls. Before I take my incredibly p.o.'d redneck attitude to the limits of human suffering (mostly the neighbor's suffering) somebody PLEASE give me some ideas on how this might have happened. I am not thinking straight right now and I need someone to come up with some alternative ideas. If I did this then I need to know how to fix it. If I didn't do it, well, that's another story. They still publish books written by people in jail, don't they?
