Too much penicillin?

I had a lady recently contact me via Goat911 about the health of her goat, a pygmy goat. During the conversation she told me that the vet had prescribed 10 cc's of Penicillin G, 300,000 I/U per day for 7 to 14 days.
Isn't that quite much for a goat that only weighs about 25 pounds or so?
