Great site idea Bernice!

How about making ice cream from the goats milk, cheese demonstrations which will get the moms wanting to come. Visiting farms and dairies, or cheese plants. How about spinning. Start your own kid-goat-give-away program in which children write essays and you pick a deserving child to receive a goat to show, they breed the doe and in 2 years deliver a kid back into the program for another kid. You have to be backed by breeders, so the kids have bucks to breed to, and to also donate the original kids, and other kids if no does are born. Clinics. My daughters 4H group was very competitive, nothing thrilled them more than practicing for showmanship, going in mass to another county and taking home all the awards. This way you have the older ones helping the younger ones, and you should have heard the phones buzzing about who would take which goat, so all the classes were covered. Probably not the best example :) Vicki
