Yup Linda Henry XIII beheaded the wrong people (his wives were beheaded for not giving him sons) The male in almost every species has x and y chromosomes in his sperm,all eggs are x. An x sperm with an x egg gives you a female. I firmly believe you can influence gender by which sperm get to the egg(see gary's moon theory) but it is the sperm that fertilizes the egg which determines gender.
