Hi been a while since I've been here been really busy with kidding my first time too as well as all the does this is their first time as well. Vicki you answered part of the question I was going to ask. I have 11 does 6 of them have all ready kidded and I have had all singles. Your right about the big kids with single births mine are averaging 10-9 lbs have had to assist with most of them because of the size and being their first. I have 5 left to kid and it looks like it could possibly be all singles. Is there something I was doing wrong when breeding them and am I over feeding them to get such big kids all are very well and have had no losses. I give loose cattle mineral free choice along with baking soda, also I feed them alfala hay about 1/2 a bale or more a day and they each get approx. also give then 1lb. of grain in the a.m. and p.m. Help me if I'm doing this wrong or at least let me know if I'm doing this right. It's by guess and by golly around here but You have helped with alot of other things so far.
