We gave children only, small handfulls of black oil sunflower seeds at fairs to feed our goats. Quite the opposite on the goats getting sick from eating stuff at the shows, my goats are very particular about eating anything from hands, even mine. But, they would hang their heads through the cattle panels and as an unsuspecting mom would venture buy with a child in a stroller or by the hand, if the child had cotton candy or popcorn, the does would rip it out of the childs hand! Cotton candy is just sugar, and popcorn never really makes it into their mouth, since they grab for the bag! Most mothers were not very happy! Vicki
