I had a doe who had a lump similiar to the one you mentioned. the vet, now... he was new as mown hay as the saying goes, but he said that he thought it to be aclacium deposit from her being a heavy milker. that gal milked #4,435 at her peak. But as time went by that lump grew, we again had him look, he xrayed for a broken rib, nothing. We then figured as it got bigger that it may be a tumor. So he took some fluid, sure enough and she ended up being one of the 5 does that had double kiddings last yr.... the tumor just grew from the stress he figured. but thats just our experience, so don't worry and think its that. it may be, but chances are it could also be any number of things. Hope this helps.
