My god, I had to laugh at the answers to this "quick question". I can so relate to all of you. I started raising goats two years ago. I started with just two does. Well, then last summer I brought home a set of twins (doe and wether). Then I sent my two does off to be bred in January. Then brought home a little billy goat this spring. So my total is up to 5. Last week, one of my girls had twins, that makes 7, and the other is due any day. I had plans to sell any males the girls produced, but after taking one look at little Henry, and actually being there to catch him when he was born....needless to say, he's not going anywhere. So as you can see, my herd is expanding, and now that I have this little billy, I expect it to continue. I just see myself keeping all of the offspring, glad we own alot of land that my goats can takeover. If I do sell any, I will probably have to go and "inspect" their new homes, and probably get a private investigator to do a human profile.LOL. Anyway, it's nice to know that there are others out there that share my unending love for these little angels. Have a great day.
