We took a 3 week old bottle baby Nubian to a dog show in KC (dumb maybe but she's just fine) (On a side note some drunk woman in downtown KC thought she was a dog-city people!)
Anyway we put her in a dog crate (500 size) with lots of straw. I packed a cooler full of ice and premixed the formula so it would be our water. I fed it cold and didn't have any problems. We stayed as close a possible to her regular schedule and I took some Probios just in case. We walked her on a dog leash after each feeding.
If it's hot where you are (it is her!) I would throw some of those blue cooler freezer packs in the crate to keep them from getting over-heated.
