Cindy-I'm not sure what kind of medicated food you are feeding. I feed an all stock feed, sometimes Purina Goat Chow and mine are on 1.5 acres of pasture with occasional tie-outs in the woods or brushy areas,no hay in the summer although I am thinking of supplimenting a bit. I don't think you should feed medicated food if it's an antibiotic or wormer as resistance becomes a problem. What if you fill the feeder once a day-they may not even need the amount they are eating free choice.
