That website Gretchen gave you is a good start. Was he your breeding or did you purchase him? The reason i am asking is if he didn't get enough selinium ineutero (sp) this would have started the problem.
i do know we recently switched minerals and feed from our speciality mix to Blue Seal and the minerals as well. We saw a lot more selimium issues this yr and both our bucks were copper deficient. i had a problem with one buck whose joints cracked like a bowl of rice krispies when he walked. I tried copper and it helped, he now walks with no snap, crackle, pop.
I can't remember the exact amounts off the top of my head on selimium and copper for feeds, I just lost my data on my other computer so i am really lost here. but check that website, I think it mentions the levels there.
Another good source of calcium is Tums, i was at a show once and saw a top breeder feeding Tums to her does. i asked and she said to provide calcium.
Heres another good website to go to for information on minerals, etc, http://www.springbriar.com
Hope this helps.
