We use Ivermectin subq injected for lice, mites and nosebots. Orally we don't see it working for lice. Under the skin (subq) shots are usually given over the ribs of goats, pull out a small tent of skin, and place the needle just like you were crawling into the tent, let go of the tent, which burys your needle, pull back on the plunger to make sure you aren't in a blood vessel, if no blood appears in the syringe than press in the plunger. Pull out the needle and give the site a really good rubbing.
I have a really good old diagram of where you give shots in a goat, if you will privately send me your address to me vickilonesomedoe@hotmail.com
I will send it to you. Everyone needs a goat mentor and a goat club to learn all of these things. I taught my very daughters large 4H club how to give shots with an orange covered in panty hose. Vicki
