Hey everyone,

I've got another question for everyone:

I have a 4 year old milker (Togg), she just freshened for her 2nd time in the beginning of April. She gives 5lbs a milking. I'm currently feeding her free choice grass hay, 2lbs goat chow daily (split up with milking - so 1lb am/pm)and she gets a good handful of "Dengie hi-Fi" (which if you didn't know is kinda like haylage - chopped alfalfa and hay with a light coating of molasses - in 40 lb bag/bales).

It seems like she's dropping weight slowly - not drastic. I want to keep her weight up and production - and need some suggestions. she was a bit on the heavy side during pregnancy since she was dry a year. Has anyone had sucess feeding Magalac, or any other rumen-bypass fat in the feed? Or have another formula for a ration?

Just Wondering
