I own several pygmy and nubian/pygmy cross goats and have been a goat owner for a few years now. I am taking my pygmies to a fund raiser for a facility I work for so they can have a small 'petting area' for kids. I want to put up an informational poster about goats that is fun for the kids.

I have noticed that almost every time I tell people I have goats, they respond with " do they really eat ANYTHING?" I am curious, just where do you think that this came about? I found through experience that goats are about the pickiest eaters I have ever seen! (unless they are really hungry) They will refuse foods that my horses will eat, and I thought horses were pretty discriminatory. I wanted to include this in my poster, so if any of you have input, I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Amy
