Thanks for your advice, Phyllis! I think this will work very well for my timid goats. My wildly aggressive one, however, is another story! She comes at me, and if I have food of any kind, demands every last bit. She's persists in being cranky. I guess I'll have to somehow section her off while working with the other ones. FYI, this weekend I finally let all of them out together (the mamas and babies have been separated). There's been a bit of fighting between the mamas and the buck (a wether as of last month), but I think it'll work. He's a bit of a brat..pushing everyone (including the babies) around. I hope they all work it out. The babies are about 7 weeks old and big enough, I think, to be okay..although one got sort of run over this morning by that bothersome boy. She yelled a bit but I think she's okay. Seems like every day there's something new to figure out. These pets take a heck of a lot more care than my cat :-)
