Hello folks,
This is an email I was sent today regarding a pregnant doe. Anyone have any ideas? I have referred the person who sent me this email to the Message Board to read any responses that may be written.

We bought a very pregnant Boer goat at the livestock show about 4.5 weeks ago. I knew it was risky but did it anyhow. Got her home and put her in a stall in the barn, got her all fixed up. She is really big, both of her sides look like basketballs, and her teats were full and almost drug the ground. We expected birth anytime.
Well, still no babies. She seems fine and in no pain. She has a good
appettite, she gets around ok but moves real slow and she does lay around alot. No signs of muscous, etc. Recently, her teats have about dried up!!! I am very worried. What is wrong?. Any suggestions??? We live in rural east Ky and its hard to get ahold of a vet, have tried to call one all week.
