We do things similar to Jess. Does get their booster upon uddering up, kids are raised heat treated and pasturised. We give our kids their first shot at 3 weeks, 2nd shot, 21 days later and a third shot 21 days after that. I give the full 2cc, and I use Bar Vac CD&T. I keep it in the fridge and I have what I call drawing needles that are used on each new syringing, this way I can reuse needles and syringes in very large kid groups. We also give our vaccinations in the muscle to hide the granuloma (lump) that is formed, it is unsightly in diary goats when shaved for shows if it is under the skin. Vicki
