Having listened intently to everything you guys have had to say I called the dealer I got the serum from and they say they've been asked this question repeatedly. They say the "host goats" (for lack of a better term) are all tested for CAE and (supposedly) are clean...They also say that they themselves use the serum religiously and have never had a problem.
I wish I could believe everything I'm told these days but I seem to be getting bit in the butt a lot lately! Plans for now are to keep the stuff I have and use it when I feel it is truly necessary because it has helped in the past, but I won't be shooting up my newborns with it unless they need it. Everybody in my herd will be up for CAE tests about mid-summer. I'll let you know what the results are....
