I have a doe that went down a 1 1/2 weeks ago. She first went down I believe the babies were pressing on her spine and her back legs wouldn't hold her so she pulled herself around her pen with her front feet. After a week she gave birth to twins and after a few days she could get up on her back feet, but now she seems to have injured one of her front ankles I assume from pulling herself around so much before. So now she gets around on her front knees and back feet. I've been giving her bute for the pain. but she is tearing up her knees. Her feed hasn't changed and never did get any milk for her kids. Should I wrap up her knees? I hate to stop her from getting around, she needs the exercise after being down so long. Any suggestions?
