Perhaps your hay is just so much better than where they were at, all my girls are big hay eaters. This would be a great time of the year to purchase yourself a buckling to use this fall, and that way you won't be having to run your does all around finding a buck. You will get more kids also, since the does will ovulate more, and also keep less of a worm burden than being stressed being moved. If you don't or can't have a big ole stinker around, simply sell him after he has bred the girls, and then purchase a new buckling. Make sure the buckling was born in December 2000 or January 2001, this will make him more than old enough to start breeding in August! If you don't want to raise a bottle baby you can at least go purchase him and have the owners finish raising him for you, picking him up when he is a weaned at 12 weeks. I do this for folks every year, I just charge a little more for it. Vicki
