So sorry to hear about Gabby. I know you love her dearly. You have taken wonderful care of her. Its always hard to loose a goat no matter what. I lost our lovely GCH doe Clarise in November to kidding. She was in labor and had some difficulties, the vet came and said that there was no way she could have had them by herself. I called at the first sign of trouble too. The buck kid was coming out first, tail first. So he examined her. She had a ruptured uterus and his feet had pierced her stomach and intestines. he siad he could try to save her but doubted she would survive. She was 8 yrs old. he then tried to save the kids, there were quads, all 4 had died a few hrs before, 3 does and a buck. I was devasted. First real tragedy in along time.
