The milk is chunky and bloody. The teat feels like there is a ball of wire, the best description I can come up with. We are also giving her penicillin subq. The bag has been massaged. When we checked her this afternoon, we could not get any substance out of this particular teat. Can we use a teat dilator to hold the teat open. The teat really isn't open as the dilator has a round end on it sealing the opening of the teat up. These dilators are used on cows to keep the teat from clogging up. Any more suggestions? Did not know there were different kinds of mastitis. Thank you for the information.
