I have a 2-day old Boer buck that I found last evening in the barn severely dehydrated and with a very low temp. I brought him into the house and revived his body temp and got some colostrum into him. He's been given lactated ringer solution, goat serum, pennicillan, electrolytes, dextrose, and vitamin B complex in the last 22 hours. He's alive and breathing and his temp is staying above 100, but his legs are useless and he has done nothing but sleep. It's like I can hardly rouse him. Could this be a sign of something more serious or is he just totally exhausted from fighting to survive? Any ideas are appreciated!
