She didn't get it from being full fed, she got it from an increase in grain, usually protein. This can happen if your grain mill mixes animal protein in one ton and then plant protein in the next batch. If you are feeding pellets, or your feed tags say, roughage grain by products, plant protein or animal fat or protein on it, than you are really taking a chance, with excesses when you feed this. Make sure an keep your feed management level, especially in the protein department, and actually the only stock that needs higher protein is growing stock. You will have to keep her feet trimmed very aggressively in the front, and perhaps using a supplement like Buteless, to ease the pain.
