I do very much appreciate your comments about GoatWorld; however I am not inclined to agree with posting about "other" organizations or individuals in a negative manner. This would not be entirely appropriate for the scope and purpose of GoatWorld.
Each "email list" is set up differently. Of course there are going to be differences in opinion - this is a fact of life in any endeavor. But "publicly" slamming any one of these lists, individuals or organizations is just not good business and I refuse to allow it to happen here at GoatWorld.
The GoatWorld Message Forum was designed so that EVERYONE can ask questions and share knowledge without ever being put down or disregarded as being unintelligent. EVERYONE has the right to voice their opinion - whether it is fully agreed upon by everyone else or not - this is how we learn. But these opinions only apply to the topic of goats and such related topics AND NOT individuals, organizations or other web sites. Please understand this list is for the good of everyone and not just one person.
We personally don't like to use a "salesman" approach in this web site. While we do have some products available for sale, if people want to buy them, they will buy them. If they don't buy them, they are still free to use GoatWorld as if they were our best customer. GoatWorld is primarily designed to "help" and not necessarily to "sell" although we don't mind a few sales now and then either - we just won't be pushing things in peoples face - that is downright rude and I myself tend to become very angry when faced with that type of situation.
I do know that there are many people recently voicing their concern over be infected with computer viruses - the best thing I can recommend here is that you get a copy of Norton AntiVirus or McAffee and use it diligently. Never open email from anyone you do not know. Unfortunately each of us as computer users is faced with the dreadful possibility of contracting a virus. You are going to need this protection whether or not you are a member of an email list or not.
My bottom line answer and policy to "opinions" regarding other individuals, organizations, web sites, businesses, etc. is that if you have an opinion as such, please use PRIVATE channels to convey your opinion and not PUBLIC forums. There is a diverse number of people here trying to learn. Some of these people are youngsters and we certainly do not want to set a bad example for them.
