Hello, This is my first time here---hope someone can help.
I have a 3 year old Boer doe that is 3 months pregnant. She has been down for 4 days now. She poops and urinates fine. Doesn't want to eat much or drink, but we tube her water, propylen glycol and give her pain shots. We have given her mineral oil too. We can't get her up. She weighs about 180-200 pounds. Does anyone have a suggestion as to getting her up or is it to late? We thought of maybe trying to get her to abort, but we don't know if that is a good idea. We tried hoisting her up on a hammock and she started breathing so heavy and was hurting so bad she was mouning. She won't extend her legs at all when we try to lift her. I have cried and cried but I know that isn't doing any good. I just hate to see one suffer but she is still very alert and we just hate the thought of putting her to sleep. Any suggestions?????
Thank You,
Kim
