Phyllis, if his feet are sensitive than perhaps you have foundered him? Has he had a change in grain or quality of hay, or perhaps with his shoulder injury has he been laying around alot? If it is his shoulder I would try using the MSM, Chodroiton and Glucosomine, they are for joint health and inflamation. You could also use something like Buteless that Jeffers carries to take the edge of herbally of his pain during the day so he gets some exercise! If he did chip the bone, it is going to be a long time in healing I would think! Good luck with your guy! Vicki
