I simply don't agree that they will become immune to the vaccinations. Vaccinations boost your goat and sheeps own immunity, if you are happy with the Covexin 8 than continue to use it.

I know that Gary and I have been talking recently about worms and wormers. I know that he is putting up some sites on here for looking at worms. The very best way to know if you are spinning your wheels with you wormers or are right on target is by fecal sampling. I really think most folks think there is something high tech and to difficult about learning to do this on your own. This is very far from the truth! It is important to have some good sites to visit for basic information on what the blasted you are looking at, but the rest is gravy! With tapes being the only worm that can be seen with the naked eye, lots of folks worry about them, even though tapes cause no economic loss to you or the goat. And yes I do use Valbazen to get them, but it is an added bonus that for me and my herd Valbazen also gets rid of lots of other things. Gary is big time into looking into the world of things under the microscope, seeing things I have not a clue what they are even after he tells me what it is! You can also start running fecals for all your goat friends, amaze them with your talents and charge them a few bucks less than the local vet! Start with the premade kit from www.llamaproducts.com for less than 20$, add a microscope with its own light source, no reflectors, and don't go high dollar on this, the special from Toys R Us is fine, and then go collect fresh nanny berries, we all have plenty of them!
