Morning Dalice! Sounds like you have a good size club. I am hoping for 5 to start. 4H is not well known or popular here. But I didn't want my daughter to quit just because she was bored I think it is better for kids than scouts(I have issues with GSA). I think a small project is a great idea it will keep the younger kids interested and tyhe older ones can help. I am hoping to have kids in the same age range as yours. Modified palimentary sounds good to me it will get them into it, without over whelming them. We will probably specialize in gardening and horticulture but I don't want to scare anyone away. By the way did you know that Walmart gives out community service grants to different clubs and such? My mom works there and she told me about it. They gave a 4-H club in Missouri about 1000.00 to help them out. I think they were just cleaning up a road side. She said sometimes people ask for it to send kids to camp, that would help. (camp here cost over 300.00 dollars for 4H that is not right. In Mo it was 50 for a week.) You have to go to the manager or whoever is in charge she said the people at the service desk will know about it she said if they don't, then ask for the manager.Maybe even if you got a little bit of money it would be nice.
