Hi everyone.. Well We finally got here in Tenn what everyone eles has been getting and I'm sick of it. Thursday morning after I got to work it started with just a few flakes and by 9:30 a.m.. the ground and roads were covered. I headed home at about 11:00 a.m. with A little over 4" on the ground at work. A trip to work usually takes me about 15 minutes ending up taking me 1 hour & 10 minutes to get home. By then there was a little over 5" on the ground. Total white out while driving home. But I can say one thing after I got home I just stood at the window watching the big flakes and it was a beautiful sight. But once it stops falling I'm ready for it to ALL be gone. I got up this morning at 4:00 a.m. to frozen water lines in my bathroom and 2 below 0. Thats the honest truth: It hasn't been that cold here in 10 years or more..( In my kitchen I still have water and also in my laundry room. God knows I'm leaving them streaming until this S*** is over. Sorry but thats not snow if thats what your thinking, but the other S word..LOL.
I did keep the water running in the bathtub but a lot of good that done. The kids have there water tanks all full and their water de-icers are keeping their water from freezing even in this kind of weather. God Bless the person that invented them. The kids are full and sassy and have been out playing a bit today. The weather is calling for more snow tonight, they are saying maybe up to another 1", its snowing now as I type this. They also are saying may up to almost 30 tomorrow. Well thats what's happening in Tenn. If its doing the same thing at your place keep warm and be safe. Sandy & Kids
