We looked at baby goats, he has every size, breed, color you could imagine. I didn't buy any as I don't have a goat milk supply at present, but will be looking later this year. He had an adorable 50% boer/ 50% nubiand doeling that was very tempting. She had a black hood. But she had a bit of a snotty nose and me with no goat milk, the stress of a move and all I decided not to get her. But, he was selling a manure wagon, fully functional and when I got home I told my husband about it and he said, lets get it. So, no warm fuzzy goat to hold, but a manure wagon to keep things tidier around here!!! I will be happy with that. Just a tidbit for any of you 4Hers that do market wethers. He said last year in Elkhart, IN at the fair, the grand champion market wether went for, are you ready...... $4,200.00. Can you believe it? At our local fair it went for $140.00.
We live in the wrong state I guess.
Glad you resigned your nursey job Mary. Now you can have more goat time!!! Ha!
