Mary I looked up epilepsy in animals. Since dogs have it most often, that's what most of the articles were about. But Texas A&M had an article and they said cats & horses have had it. Another said rabbits and cats. Trauma to the head is one. Dogs are known for it to be genetic I think this is why there is so much research, one article mentioned cats and horses don't get it through genetics. I figure from reading if horses can it so can any animal.
