Thanx you guys, I really feel horrible about this!
On top of everything poor Eris she has been "calling" for Patrick all day. Last night when they were buring him, Eris just stood at the gate and watched with this almost blank stare. The same look she had when they were buring Nicholas last year..Eris and Nicholas were big buddies..Even though all of our goats are named and are all spoiled rotten, only a few of them are actual pets. Eris and Jessie as was Nicholas and Patrick, and I swear they knew it.
Wes seems to be doing a lot better this time, than with Nicholas. I really feel bad for him, he absolutly loves animals, and they love him..He just said mom this is the 2nd goat..what am I doing wrong? Poor little guy, I think I made him realize he did everything right, and that these things just happen, unfortunatly. Here is a pic of Wes and Patrick the day he was born.
I actually entered it into a photo contest earlier this year, and it won.
