I normally don't try and push any kind of sales here in the Message Forum but I just had to let you know about a new book that I recently acquired called "One Day With A Goat Herd" by C.J. Stevens. Where most goat books deal strictly with the technical aspects of goatkeeping, this book is written in a story-like fashion about a herd of dairy goats. To be honest, when my complimentary copy arrived from the publisher, I could not put it down and had it read in about 2 hours (100 pages with pictures). It really was a nice departure from the "if your goat is sick" type of writing that I've become used to. With the holidays and Christmas just around the corner, I thought some of you might be interested in getting a copy of this book - I'd like to get as many orders as I can of course but mainly because I'd like to have a bulk supply of these books on hand. I know too that a few of you (especially Goatmom ;-) ) has requested that I try and stock various book titles here on GoatWorld....I'm working on it! I should have quite a few more titles added before the month is out - but please, if there are specific titles that you would like, please let me know. One small problem that I have been running into with some of the publishers is that certain titles I've "had" listed have gone "out of print" while others are on backorder.
