Hi Deborah- I Meant to write you back and also let you know the barbados are also great jumpers. If something spooks them I have seen my herd of about 40 leap a 6 ft fence ,clearing it by 2 ft. Now this is from a flat footed stand ,not at a run. I had one that used to chase my truck [bottle fed] when I went to visit my naighbor who I had given an orphan. Its a dirt rd ,so I would see how fast he could run befor I had to stop and let him in. Clocked him at 30 miles per hr for a quarter mile- this was just a yearling.Jeremiah is gone now and I sure do miss him. Dont let any one mess with the boys horns ,even in play.By nature those are thier weapons. The barbados usually twin every 7 to 8 months It doesnt take long to build a herd. You ask anything.I will be glad to help If I can....goat mom
